take IH 35 north just past New Braunfels to the Canyon Lake exit FM 306. Go left 2 miles to the traffic light and Hunter road, turn left and follow to Gruene.
From Austin:
follow I-35 South. Then exit FM 306 (Exit 191) off of 35 and turn right. Follow the signs to Gruene Historical District. (straight about 2 miles and at the second light turn left). This will take you right through Gruene and put you facing the Dance Hall.
From Houston:
take IH 10 West to the New Braunfels Hwy 46 exit (at Seguin). Go north to New Braunfels. Inf New Braunfels Hwy 46 becomes Loop 337, stay north to the gruene road Exit. Follow Gruene Road to Gruene Historical District.
